The Carlyon Bay Scheme

Following the feedback received at our last public exhibition in October 2009, which was held to explain our alternative ideas for the development, we have produced an informal Development Brief that seeks to define the scheme, its objectives and design principles.

The Brief will be used to outline the design of the proposals and identifies the key aspects that we consider are important for the development.

This updated website reflects the content of the second exhibition held in June 2010 when over 500 visitors attended and we were able to explain our new approach and listen to your views.

CEG looked at the Secretary of State’s decision and carefully identified the objectives that should define a future scheme for Carlyon Bay.

We are taking a completely fresh look at traffic generation.

We are exploring a design which is more appropriate for Cornwall.

A third exhibition will be held before we submit the planning application.
