Ecology and Landscaping

Natural planting and landscaping appropriate to Cornwall will be used to enhance the quality of the environment as well as encouraging new habitats within the site and the surrounding area.

“Green or brown” roofs, otherwise known as “living roofs” will be incorporated which will help to absorb rainwater and create a habitat for wildlife.

Polgaver Beach will be carefully managed to restore vegetation and ecological interest whilst across the whole site, different habitats will be maintained.

Any lighting of the cliffs will be minimised to ensure a little impact as possible.

A Framework for an Ecological and Landscape Management Plan is included in the planning application.
