Transport
Transport consultants Colin Buchanan, who were responsible for advising the Eden Project, say that overall the construction of the proposed sea defence scheme will have a negligible impact on the safe and efficient operation of the local road network in the vicinity of the development site.

The impact would be temporary lasting for the duration of the construction of the proposed sea defences scheme – from January 2008 to August 2009.

The proposed scheme would be accompanied by a Code of Construction Practice mitigating and limiting the transport impact which will be extended to the construction of the whole resort.
