The second in a series of public consultation exhibitions for a fresh approach to the £250 million world-class resort at Carlyon Bay opened today (24th June).
Following feedback from the first exhibition in October 2009, when over 500 people attended, a new scheme is being progressed that encapsulates a more Cornish design.
Carlyon Bay developers have held a series of face to face meetings with local residents, councillors and other stakeholders to outline the new approach for the £250 million world-class holiday resort which could achieve a significantly better scheme compared to the existing permission.
Alternative options for the £250 million world-class resort at Carlyon Bay are being explored by the developer following years of planning delays.
The company is investigating fresh opportunities which would embrace a more sustainable design and could include less development at Shorthorn and a larger beach area plus a realigned sea defence system.
