Professor Allsop continued to be cross-examined by Christopher Boyle for Cornwall County Council and the Environment Agency. Miss Sophie Weller, barrister for local group Carlyon Bay Watch, declined to cross-examine.

Earlier in the week, Miss Weller said: “In many respects, our case echoes that of Cornwall County Council and the Environment Agency.”
