Around 500 construction jobs will be available during the five-year build of the development and once we’re open, around 450 exciting, full-time job opportunities will be on offer.

These will range from senior management positions, such as chief executive, to operations, finance and marketing directors. We’ll also need resort managers, bar and restaurant staff, sports and fitness instructors, beauty therapists, receptionists, housekeepers, medical officers, gardeners, cleaners and housekeepers.

Training
Wherever possible, the staff for these jobs will be sourced locally. A series of training programmes will be set up with local Cornish colleges, initially focusing on construction but culminating in specifically-tailored courses focusing on top-quality tourism.

The investment in these independently-crafted courses demonstrates The Beach’s commitment to providing a platinum service to visitors. Staff will be able to reach their true potential through a series of training modules which will encourage them to take a pride in their position and enable them to deliver the very best.

We are currently sponsoring construction courses at St Austell College by providing equipment and tools for students. We will be announcing further training partnerships once the outcome of the public inquiry is known.

Year round
The Beach will attract a higher out-of-season occupancy than in many other Cornish resorts and consequently will be able to provide more full-time, year-round employment.
